provides buy-and sell-side financial due diligence services to private equity and corporate clients with over 20 years of experience in accounting and M&A advisory.
Most recently, Dan has worked as an interim CFO and transaction advisor for private equity-acquired, middle-market entities and assisting investment banking clients to prepare clients for sale and guided them through the due diligence process. CFO engagements included multiple branded consumer products entities, technology and highly engineered manufactured devices, food packaging, food manufacturers, and a SaaS technology company (acquired and integrated into a public company),
Prior to entering the CFO space, Dan performed financial, accounting and business due diligence on over 100 Companies while working with RSM’s Transaction Advisor Services group and during his corporate development stint at The Boeing Company. As a corporate development manager with Boeing’s Integrated Defense Systems unit, he managed acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and equity investment activities.
Dan holds a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Brigham Young University. Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and five children at the beach, camping and at the kids’ sports, dance and choir events. He is a long-time scout leader who enjoys developing youth.
